Earl takes on number 101 on his list, « Stole a girl’s identity. » The girl turns out to be Joy’s half-sister that she never knew about and the one person that could possibly help her get sympathy from the jury. The problem, Joy and Liberty are enemies.
Sara meets Michael and Lincoln in a train station in Evansville, Indiana; when she sees Kellerman with them, she becomes disturbed and upset. Kellerman tells that she has a key of a private cigar club in Chicago. Caroline calls Kellerman and he tells that he is heading to Chicago by train, and she promises his life back, inclusive the chief of staff position. T-Bag tells Susan that they are passing through an « adjustment period » in their lives; when she tells him that she will have a guest called Patty Wallace, T-Bag welcomes Patty with a magnificent family brunch and uses the strong father figure to discipline Zack, seducing the guest with his charm and attitude. Wheeler is reporting the actions of Mahone to the FBI Headquarter and they find that Haywire killed a man in Algoma, Wisconsin. Mahone visits Bellick in River Fox, releases him using a habeas-corpus to make his dirty work, and gives a car, a pistol and an FBI badge to the despicable man. Bellick chases and traps Haywire, and waits for Mahone. In Benson, Minnesota, C-Note and Dede are leaving a snack bar when an addicted thief announces a heist. When Kellerman sees a road block on the train, he realizes that he was betrayed.
Hiro deals with explaining his new heroic path in life to his ambitious sister and tycoon father. Niki has the chance to reunite with D.L and Micah. Claude’s mentoring of Peter leads Peter to question those closest to him. Claire goes to a trailer park looking for her birth mother. Sylar wears a disguise and makes a move against HRG.
When a funeral conflicts with the Super Bowl, the gang vows to avoid hearing the score and watch it together on Monday. This proves difficult, as Marshall is threatened with the score by a boy in Lily’s class, while doing the news puts Robin in danger of finding out who won.
Jack’s family loyalties are put to the test as Graem reveals his full involvement in the terrorist activities. Wayne convenes a meeting of his cabinet to discuss Lennox’s drastic policies, while Sandra tends to an injured Walid. Morris receives some bad news about a relative, and McCarthy sets a trap designed to capture the man who can help Fayed build a new trigger for the nukes.
Earl goes for #44 on his list trying to help Pierre, a French foreign exchange student, he made fun of when they went to school together. Earl flies him back to the US and he tries to hook Pierre up with a girl he had a crush on as a child. Meanwhile, newlyweds Randy and Catalina find their marriage changes in ways they would never imagine.
In Cutback, Montana, Kellerman lures the police and Michael and Lincoln abduct the cameraman Greg of Fox News and succeed in escaping from the siege. Michael and Lincoln decide to tape a message to be released in the Breaking News. Mahone is back in Chicago and analyzing the message; he interrogates Greg and he tells that he had overheard Michael tell that they should cover 460 miles in six hours. Mahone deducts that they intend to meet President Caroline in Denver. Wheeler discusses with Mahone and yells that the internal affair asked him to follow all moves of Mahone. Bellick is badly wounded in the infirmary of Fox River. Sucre befriends an old passenger in a bus to Ixtapa; however the driver asks him to leave the bus in a small town and Sucre robs the Volkswagen of the old man. In Algoma, Winsconsin, Haywire befriends a young couple and the girl has bruises on her arm; she tells that her abusive drunken father uses to beat her.
Hiro continues to search for a sword while being chased by mysterious figures. An invisible man named Claude has something to teach one of the heroes. D.L. takes on new family responsibilities, and Matt opens up to his wife. H.R.G. continues to focus on the captive Sylar. Claire seeks out the Haitian and then her birth parents. Mohinder looks for those on the list, and receives a surprise visitor. A psychiatrist offers to help Niki.
Jack forces Graem to take him to McCarthy’s office in the hopes of finding a lead to their father’s whereabouts. Lennox plays a trump card that removes Karen from his path as he prepares to implement more extreme policies. The FBI’s sting operation with Walid goes terribly awry, while Nadia finds herself impeded by new security measures at CTU.

Apollo shows off the new drinking establishment on Galactica, Joe’s Bar, to Tyrol. Apollo thinks about Kara and wonders whether his marriage to Dee is worth saving.
