The Prom

After learning that Axl text-invited the wrong girl to prom and plans to solve the situation by standing her up, Frankie and Mike demand that he meet the girl face-to-face in a timely manner to gently break off the date – or face the music and take her to the big event. Meanwhile, Sue and her friend, Carly, try in earnest to fit in with the school’s « B » crowd during lunch, and after a successful first show, Brick begins to bore Frankie and Mike with his impromptu one-man plays.

Lockhart/Gardner defends Stephanie Engler, the owner of an adultery Web site, after one of her users is murdered, but the civil case turns criminal when the murder is pinned on Stephanie. Alicia goes ballistic on Kalinda about her one-night stand with Peter, causing Kalinda to contemplate leaving the firm.

During rehearsal for « Baron’s All-American Beauty Pageant, » the contestants are shocked to discover the body of Miss Illinois – strangled, but by whom? As Castle and Beckett delve into the cut-throat competition of the pageant world, they learn that a number suspects had motive for murder, including jealous fellow contestants, the pageant’s larger-than-life millionaire sponsor, Victor Baron, and the show’s host — hedonistic TV personality, Bobby Stark.

Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things

Ned looks for clues to the death of his predecessor, and uncovers one of King Robert’s bastards. Robert and his guests witness a tournament honoring Ned. Jon takes measures to protect Sam from further abuse at Castle Black; a frustrated Viserys clashes with Daenerys in Vaes Dothrak; Sansa imagines her future as a queen, while Arya envisions a far different future. Catelyn rallies her husband’s allies to make a point, while Tyrion finds himself caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
